Agreement to these terms
These terms govern your use of New York Limo, LLC (“New York Limo,” “we,” “us”) and any reservation booked through our website, phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email channels. By booking a ride or making a reservation, you agree to these terms.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you have their authority to do so and that they have read or been made aware of these terms.
What we provide
New York Limo provides chauffeured ground transportation in New York City and the surrounding tri-state area, including airport transfers, corporate travel, weddings, prom and school events, charter bus service, and hourly as-directed service. All vehicles are licensed, insured, and operated by professional, licensed chauffeurs.
Bookings and payment
- Online reservations are secured with a credit or debit card or paid by Zelle; corporate and approved accounts may be billed on account. Card bookings are pre-authorized at booking — or, for trips more than a week away, the card is saved and pre-authorized closer to the trip — and captured after the ride is completed.
- Quoted prices include the chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, tolls, all gratuities, bottled water, Wi-Fi, and standard meet-and-greet.
- The following are billed separately from the quote: parking fees, additional wait time beyond the included grace window, special decorations, and any tolls or fees imposed after the quote is issued.
- Corporate accounts are billed monthly per the terms established at account setup.
Cancellations and changes
Cancellations made before the window below are not charged. After the window, the full reserved amount is captured.
- Sedans and SUVs: 2 hours before scheduled pickup
- Vans: 4 hours before scheduled pickup
- Stretch limos, charter buses, weddings: 24 hours before scheduled pickup
No-shows (the rider not appearing at the pickup location within 30 minutes of the scheduled time without notifying dispatch) are treated as completed rides and charged in full.
Changes to reservation details (time, vehicle class, pickup location) may be accommodated up to the cancellation window; later changes are subject to availability.
Rider conduct
By riding with us you agree:
- Not to smoke (including vaping) in any vehicle. A cleaning fee applies to any smoking incident.
- Not to consume alcohol in any vehicle except where expressly permitted at booking and where doing so complies with state and local law.
- To pay for any damage to the vehicle caused by you or your party beyond normal wear.
- To treat our chauffeurs with respect. We reserve the right to terminate a ride if a chauffeur reports unsafe, threatening, or abusive behavior.
- To follow all applicable seatbelt and child-restraint laws. We provide child seats on request.
Our rights
We reserve the right to:
- Refuse service to any rider or party whose behavior or condition (including but not limited to impairment, threats, or violations of these terms) creates a risk to the chauffeur, vehicle, or other riders.
- Substitute a comparable or upgraded vehicle when the specifically booked vehicle is unavailable due to maintenance, accident, or other operational reasons. We will notify you of any substitution before pickup whenever possible.
- Terminate a ride in progress if rider conduct violates these terms. In such cases, the full reserved amount is captured and you are responsible for arranging alternative transportation.
Limits of liability
We carry commercial liability insurance in amounts at or above New York State and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements. In the event of an accident or loss, our liability is limited to the coverage carried by our insurance policy and applicable law.
We are not liable for:
- Personal items left in vehicles after a ride. We make reasonable efforts to return lost items but cannot guarantee recovery.
- Missed flights, connections, or appointments due to traffic, weather, road closures, accidents involving other vehicles, or other events outside our reasonable control.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, where such limitation is prohibited by law.
Disputes and governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under or related to these terms or to a reservation shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New York County, New York, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules.
You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and any right to participate in a class action arising from these terms or a reservation.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you make a reservation governs that reservation. Material changes will be posted on this page; for active customers, we will also send notice by email.
